Antonio León Jiménez is a Spanish chemical engineer, entrepreneur and innovator—best known as the co‑founder, President and CTO of Graphenstone, the pioneering eco‑friendly paint company.

Early career & IEdiSA (2006–2013)
- Originally worked in R&D and as CTO in a leading coatings firm in Spain and Morocco.
- In 2006, he founded IEdiSA (Industria Española de Desarrollo e Investigación 2100), focusing on traditional lime-based materials.
- Spend years researching valorizing artisanal lime and partnering with specialists and the University of Seville to develop innovative formulations.
Launch of Graphenstone (2013)
- In November 2013, launched Graphenstone, creating the world’s first 100 % natural paint combining lime and graphene—free of plastics, VOCs, heavy metals, and toxic solvents.
- The graphene-enhanced lime coating offers improved durability, flexibility, moisture and thermal regulation, and even absorbs CO₂, purifies air, and combats microplastics pollution.
Launch of Origen Paints (2021)
- OriGenPaints Innovative lime-based paints, bases, and mortars formulated without biocides.
- With Origen, OxiGen is born: a sustainable approach that reduces waste, lowers the carbon footprint, and eliminates harmful chemicals. Lime-based systems that deliver both durability and ecological safety. Completely natural, made with lime and graphene, and 100% free from VOCs, plastics, or heavy metals.
- Following that vision, GrafGen emerges as a next-generation line using CACO3® Technology and Bio_Base for sustainable, high-performance results.
